Ohana Swim Teams thinks Swimming should be an equal opportunity sport.
We also feel that swimmers should not be rewarded for hard work and progress with higher fees.
So, we charge a flat rate of $80.00 a month.
We're the only team in the state that's doing this.
We know what a great deal this is. We checked around. It's da best. Really.
Picture this--five top quality swim workouts a week for the same incredibly low price of $80.00. The average asking price for this offering by other clubs in the region is 170% higher!
So, in order to keep monthly fees from going up, we ask for all swimmers to
promote our team and to
participate in upcoming fundraisers.

Beginner 3 times/week $80.00 a month
Beginner 5 times/week $80.00 a month
Silver/Gold 5 times/week $80.00 a month
All American champions $80.00 a month
Masters Swimmers (ages 18-108) $80.00 a month
Left handed swimmers $80.00 a month
Right handed swimmers $80.00 a month
Head Coach's relatives $80.00 a month
The inevitable "exceptions to the rule!"
Drop-in Master Swimmers (with ID card) $ 5.00 per visit
5 visit punchcard (Masters Swimmers only) $25.00
US Swimming members currently
swimming with a local high school team $40.00 a month (2 month limit)
Swim coaches who want to swim, too $0.00 a month
Large family discounts: If you have a really big family that wants to swim,
please contact either Coach Dan Balderson or our Treasurer (Cherie Land)
about rates. Due to our already extremely low prices, we will look at each family on a case-by-case basis. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE...
Registration costs--
Office/administration fee (free swim cap!) $25.00
If you are a current US Swimming member $5.00 transfer fee
If you are brand new to US Swimming $60.00 one year enrollment fee*
If you are brand new to Pacific Northwest Aquatics (Masters Swimmers) $40.00 one year enrollment fee
Age Group Meet Fee (per meet entry) $5.00 per meet per swimmer
* Note about the one year enrollment fee:
If you are getting free or reduced lunch prices at school, Pacific Northwest Swimming and USA Swimming will waive the annual membership fee of $60.00! To qualify, you must bring an eligibility letter from your school. Talk story to the Registrar or Treasurer for more info.
Where the money goes-As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation, we strive to provide the best swimming value for your money. Your fees go toward the operating costs for Ohana Swim Team, including pool rental costs, coaching staff salaries, team certifications, coach training programs, administration fees and scholarships.
Only the coaching staff receives any compensation,
and they won't be driving Porsches to work anytime soon.
